Emily grew up in Iowa where her music journey began. Her influence in music started with her parents who played the piano and guitar. At age 7 she started piano lessons, continuing to learn other instruments throughout high school. Her love for music and love for people led her to obtain a bachelors in music therapy from the University of Kansas where she played the bassoon on scholarship. Emily can teach piano, bassoon, voice, guitar, bass guitar, recorder, and can offer adapted lessons for children and adults who have developmental disabilities. |
